Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Our people are our biggest asset. We’re committed to providing a safe, inclusive and welcoming workplace that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve.
Diversity makes us stronger
Working for us means being a valued part of our inclusive team. We look for people from a range of backgrounds with different perspectives, and we work hard to remove bias from our selection process.
We can’t deliver on our mission of keeping New Zealand and New Zealanders safe if our workforce doesn’t reflect the communities we serve. We need people with diversity of thought, culture, experience and skills.
Part of our commitment to this is through the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategy.
Employee led networks
If you join us, we want you to be able to bring your whole self to work. We’re committed to a culture that recognises and values all facets of our people. We drive this in ways that create awareness and support for everyone such as our employee led networks.
Our employee led network groups help support diversity equity and inclusion across our community. They include:
Disability Network
Military Group
Neurodiversity Support Group
Standing Out (rainbow network)
Tagata Pasifika in Intelligence Network
